This was the last song I wrote for the record. I wrote the instrumental for it and didn’t know what to do for the lyrics. I sent it to my friend Rob Tilden (BOYO) in LA to put down some melody ideas and within half an hour had sent me back what you hear on the song now!

I wasn’t expecting Rob to do any lyrics and when it was sent back I decided to just roll with what they sent. I re wrote the second verse and kept robs vocals in and sang along with them and kept it as a feature song. The song is about overstaying your welcome within a relationship. Being aware that it’s probably over but not wanting to let go. Whenever you’re around each other things feel stale in comparison to what they were earlier on in the relationship.
